Our commitment to food safety excellence

Our commitment to food safety excellence

At Marquis de pastry we are Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) accredited, giving assurance to our customers to the food safety excellence our products carry. HACCP Certification involves a systemic approach to food safety that addresses risks presented by physical, chemical and biological hazards through presentation, rather than finished product inspection. This system is used at all stages of food production and handling.

HACCP Certification provides national recognition that a system of food safety hazard control has been implemented, consisting of seven key principles; Hazard Analysis, Critical Control Points, Critical Limits, Critical Control Monitoring, Corrective Action, Procedures and Record Keeping. HACCP Australia’s mark is now one of the most recognised certification marks in the industry and is seen as being synonymous with food safety.

Holding HACCP Certification allows us to implement internationally recognised food safety hazard controls, demonstrate our commitment to food safety, manage food safety risks across our entire supply chain, give our customers confidence in our procedures and products and to continually review and improve our systems.

The safety of both our customers and our employees is of upmost importance to us, so we have ensured all employees receive education and training about our HACCP plan. Our HACCP Certification can give you confidence in the quality and safety of our Marquis de pastry products.
