Monitoring the Bake Process

When baking our cakes we monitor their internal bake temperature so we can be sure to bake the perfect cake every time.

With the winter chills truely upon us, we bake our favourite winter sticky date pudding (individual portion) decorated atop with a fancy swirl of caramel and a pitted date.  Warm the pudding in a microwave and watch the caramel start to drizzle down the side of the cake.  A perfectly warm pudding in a pond of caramel.  How good is that on a cold night!!  The pudding is also available in the family sized 8" round cake or the larger 11" round cake decorated with battered caramel, dark chocolate feathering and toasted flakes of almond.  Check out the individual cake here http://www.marquisdepastry.com.au/retail-view/sp-sticky-date-pudding-235 and the 8" family cake here http://www.marquisdepastry.com.au/retail-view/8-sticky-date-pudding-cake-212
